Description
A Klein bottle is a mathematician’s favorite impossible object: a bottle with no inside and no outside, whose neck curves around and joins the body from the side. This sculpture shows that idea as a smooth form with a round belly, a long tapering neck and a tall arched loop, and it looks different from every side you turn it to. It has a flat base and is a display piece for a desk, shelf, bookcase or classroom, not a container. It is about 9.8 cm (3.9 in) tall, 5.5 cm (2.2 in) wide and 4.7 cm (1.8 in) deep. Choose two colors in the preview, one for the body and one for the top of the neck loop; cobalt blue with a sunflower-yellow loop is shown here, and picking the same color twice gives a classic single-tone look. Add the Silk (shiny) finish for a glossy sheen. A great gift for math and science fans, teachers, students, puzzle lovers and anyone who likes a good conversation piece. Made to order in the colors you choose.
